Equipment Coordinator

  • Look up part and schematics online for owned equipment
  • Determine with shop superintendent on any repairs will be made in house or outsourced
  • Review daily inspection sheets for +/- 60 units and verify all maintenance was completed. If issues found with inspection, or equipment, address. 
  • Improve inspection sheets to be equipment specific. For example, place a grease fitting location schematics on check sheet and make mechanics sign off on every fitting showing it was greased.
  • Get quotes from local vendors for parts and repairs.
  • Build relationships with local vendors
  • Order bulk materials as directed.  Keep track of job number these materials are disbursed to.
  • Keep up with incoming and outgoing fuel in onsite fuel tanks
  • Maintain a knowledge of our current work orders on equipment.
  • Maintain a knowledge of status of our current open work orders.
  • Stay in communication with field team on location of equipment.
  • Help solve any problems as they arise related to equipment or shop
  • Leadership qualities are a plus.
  • Mechanically inclined is a huge plus.
  • Organization is a requirement
  • Self-motivation is a requirement
  • Computer skills are a requirement
  • Knowledge with Microsoft is a plus. (i.e.: word, excel, outlook, so on)
